Partner with WildFire-Ready
Aligned with public safety. No ads on safety data, no paid prioritization of fires or alerts, no sponsored content in the public app.
WildFire-Ready is a free, ad-free, bilingual wildfire app for residents of Western Canada and 18 western US states, with its deepest coverage in BC and Alberta. It is a companion to 911 and to official emergency services, not a replacement. Partnership here means supporting a public-safety tool, not buying placement inside one.
We do not run ads on safety data. We do not let anyone pay to prioritize or hide fires or alerts. We do not accept sponsored content inside the public app. These limits are deliberate. They exist so residents, First Nations, and agencies can trust what they see on the map.
Become our founding sponsor.
WildFire-Ready is independent, free, and ad-free public-safety infrastructure for Western North America — from Alaska to Texas. We don't run ads, sell paid placements, or accept sponsored content inside the app — but engineering, satellite ingestion, and map tiles cost real money. Sponsors keep it free for everyone, and your support is named publicly so people know who made it possible.

Local FireSmart coordinators, regional FireSmart committees, and FireSmart Canada.
Provincial emergency management
Emergency Management BC and the Alberta Emergency Management Agency.
Municipal fire departments

What partnership can look like
Sponsorship
Sponsorship or supporting contributions. Use of funds includes engineering and maintenance, Indigenous-language localization beyond English and French, and hardware (tablets, chargers, kiosk displays) for evacuation reception centres.
Data partnership
Private-sector fire perimeter data, AI smoke detection feeds, and predictive wildfire spread models. We integrate the data, attribute the source clearly in the app, and link out to the provider. We do not resell or rebrand partner data.
Distribution
Employer rollouts to staff in wildfire-exposed regions, community group recommendations, and First Nations band office distribution. We can provide download links, posters, and bilingual one-pagers for local use.
What we do not accept
These limits protect the credibility of the app. They are not negotiable.
- No sponsored content inside the app.
- No ad placement of any kind.
- No paid prioritization of fires, regions, or alerts.
- No affiliate links or referral kickbacks.
Where the project stands
WildFire-Ready is live on iOS, Android, and the web as of May 2026. We do not yet publish detailed user counts or session metrics publicly, and we will not invent them. What we can state as fact is the launch posture:
- Free forever. No ads, no paywalls, no in-app purchases.
- Bilingual English and Canadian French from day one.
- Official government sources only: BC Wildfire Service, Alberta Wildfire, NASA FIRMS, Environment and Climate Change Canada, DriveBC, 511 Alberta — and, for US coverage, federal sources including NIFC and the National Weather Service.
- Coverage across Western Canada and 18 western US states — deepest in BC and Alberta, where WildFire-Ready was born.
