# WildFire-Ready

> Free, ad-free, bilingual wildfire map, alerts, and preparedness app and website for Western North America: Western Canada (through Manitoba) and 18 western US states, from Alaska to Texas, serving more than 130 million people. It provides a live wildfire map (active fires, satellite hotspots, fire perimeters), fire weather, real-time air quality, evacuation alerts, road closures, fire bans, aircraft over fires, and FireSmart-aligned preparedness checklists. All data is drawn only from official US and Canadian government sources. WildFire-Ready is independent: not a government agency, and not affiliated with or endorsed by any government body. It is a companion to 911 and local emergency services, not a replacement.

WildFire-Ready ships as a free mobile app (iOS + Android) and a public web app and website. There is no advertising, no paywall, no in-app purchases, no account required, and no user tracking. Everything is bilingual: English and Canadian French (en-CA / fr-CA).

Coverage: Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) and 18 western US states (Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas), from Alaska to Texas. Coverage is deepest in British Columbia and Alberta, including full push alerting, and keeps expanding region by region as the community and support grow.

WildFire-Ready is built and operated as an independent, for-profit project by Clearly Digital, based in Western Canada. It is funded by sponsors and supporters. There are no ads on safety data, no paid prioritization of fires or alerts, and no sponsored content in the public app.
